Horizon: LITTORAL
THE MARGIN SCRAWLS
LITTORAL records the edge of the Ledger: shorelines, pond margins, wet-dry transitions, emergent growth, amphibian movement, shallow water, bank condition, and the places where land and water keep negotiating the line.
The edge may be local, borrowed, revisited, or found by accident. A canoe landing, washed bank, flooded root mass, dock line, beaver edge, hunting trail, or northern shoreline may enter the record when the margin becomes the witness.
