Horizon: COLUMN
THE SUSPENSION SCRAWLS
COLUMN records the vertical field of the Ledger: water surface, weather, light, temperature, sound, rise forms, visibility, and the atmospheric conditions that pass through before leaving evidence behind.
The column is not fixed to one pond or one sky. It travels with the observer. A surface break, pressure shift, evening rise, storm edge, suspended stain, or sudden change in light may enter the record when it alters what can be seen, heard, or known.
